O’Flynn Foundation - Standing With Our Community When Every Other Door Has Closed

As we mark World Mental Health Day, the O’Flynn Foundation continues its commitment to supporting those in our community who have nowhere else to turn. We exist for the people who have knocked on every door but found none opening — and we remain determined to be the place where hope is restored.

This year, your support has enabled us to support 248 local individuals across North East Lincolnshire since the foundation was set up in May 2022.

• 78 clients received/or receiving urgent therapeutic support through Fortis Therapy
  
• 160 clients accessing specialist programmes at Lincs Inspire, our support is continuous at Lincs Inspire
• 10 clients supported at The Trin, Cleethorpes, continuous support
  
  

Behind every number is a person — someone facing severe mental health challenges, recovering from stroke, or living with a degenerative condition. Someone who needed help quickly, compassionately, and without barriers.

Our intervention has prevented crisis, reduced isolation, restored dignity, and given individuals and families the chance to rebuild their lives.

This work is vital. It is life‑changing. And it strengthens the fabric of our community in ways that reach far beyond the people we directly support.

But we cannot do this alone.

As World Mental Health Day reminds us, accessible support is not a luxury — it is a lifeline. We are calling on local businesses, partners, and community leaders to stand with us so we can continue to provide urgent care to those who need it most.
